The teachers in Akobo, South Sudan work hard in difficult circumstances to educate the children. The generosity of the supporters of Southern Sudan Humanitarian covers most of the expenses for the Akobo School and provides an education for 450 children. Many of the children are orphans. The photo shows the teachers on a Sunday after they have attended a local church. The church building in the photo is built using traditional materials and skills by the community with volunteer labor.
