Students, Teachers and COVID-19 in South Sudan

The government of South Sudan ordered the schools to be closed in March, 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The teachers met the students outside their homes to provide printed material, instruction and encouragement to keep learning while the schools were closed. The students were able to listen to radios to receive instruction. The children do not have computers and WiFi at their homes, so other means are used to help them continue learning.
